Kai Khalid is a Nairobi-based operations and business transformation executive and a hands-on AI practitioner, trainer and speaker.
He leads the people, pricing, portfolio, delivery methodology and internal tools of a digital and technology practice, and builds AI systems around real business needs. His current title is Head of Digital & Technology Solutions at Creative Edge.
Over more than ten years across aviation, consumer electronics, digital and technology services, and food, he has turned departments around, built product portfolios and delivered measurable revenue outcomes from lean budgets. He works across four levers (People, Process, Strategy and Technology).
He also runs practical AI training and talks for leaders and teams across Kenya and Africa.
He publishes a blog of write-ups on building AI systems and running operations, with the honest numbers.
